Linking another site to your Blog Posts?

The Basic (Hyperlink) Link...

When you want to 'LINK' to a specific site's URL, you need to 'Highlight' where, in your post, you want to link it to, which I have done, then add the URL for that other site.

For example, in the next image, I have linked to the text 'URL' in the above paragraph.
I would 'highlight' those letters, (1) 'URL', then click on the (2) 'LINK' button on the Toolbar - (next to colour selection).

Knowing what the URL of the intended 'LINK' site is, I'd then click on that (2) 'LINK' option (circled above. A small screen will pop up where you check that you have highlighted the correct text - (3), then add the URL (4) - (being careful to ensure the http:// is in the address), then Test the link works (5) - then click OK (6).

Then PUBLISH! Always check your links, too. Easy!

For more information on what you can do with LINKS, and other types of links, see HELP.

Backlinks, for example, let you know if someone is linking to a Post on your Blog. Or, it lets them know you are linking to them.

Hope this helps!
