There have been some changes made by Blogger - primarily to the Dashboard - which are causing Bloggers some concern - and when you look at it closely, confusion. These changes have sprung from the Blogger in Draft project. One of these changes is to the "Select blogs to display" function which is available on the 'Edit Profile' screen.
There is also, now, the 'HIDE / SHOW' function.

Now, I have been looking at this closely, and have found the new 'Hide/Always Show' and the 'Minimise/Show All' options of the New Dashboard, very confusing. It was confusing to me when I tried to play around with it, until I realised:
- The 'old' option of 'Select blogs to display' really doesn't function with the new Dashboard.
- Control is ALL from the New Dashboard - not the 'Edit Profile' we are used to.

You see on the above image, that there are 21 available Blogs for viewing, on my New Dashboard. There are NO 'Hide' options available. Why? Well, the reason is that I am not displaying ALL of my Blogs (well, the ones I have on this Dashboard) - EXCEPT one.
This now gives me the 'Minimise List' option, but now it shows no 'HIDE' option, and displays an option for the 'Hidden Blog', of 'Always Show'.

Notice that I now have my 'Testing 3' blog showing - but, this is only temporary. I have no 'Hide' option, either. If I want the Blog to re-appear all the time, I have to select 'Always Show'. Confused yet?
If I click on 'Minimise List', on the above screen, I get this screen... notice, the next image shows me that I don't have ALL blogs showing? Only 20 of 21.

Then, when I click on 'Always Show', next to the 'Hidden Blog', I get this screen, again ... with the option to 'Hide', and NO Minimise/Show all options, which is the Standard/Default New Dashboard.

Confused? Well, I am. Why did Blogger leave the 'Select blogs to display' option on the 'Edit Profile' screen? Unless, of course, there's a chance they'll revert to that. I don't think so.
