New Blogger in Draft - Settings - Basic
The New GUI, which is now available in Blogger in Draft, displays your Blog Settings in a different way to the current GUI in Production Blogger.
There are numerous variations from the screens you are used to. You'll have to view them to see all the differences. Some features have been moved from the screens they were on, some screens have been re-named and combined with others. All in all, I think it's great - but, it may not be to everyone's liking.
The Settings are seen from the Dashboard, as the following two images show:
Select Settings from the drop-down list ...
Once again, the Basic screen is the default screen. Here you will notice the new design. It is clearly different and designed so no scrolling is needed. Some features are not available on this screen, any more - such as; Global Settings, Blog Tools - Import, Export, Delete, and Quick Edit, Email Links, Adult Content and Transliteration. You'll find them on alternate screens. So, this really has become a Basic screen - with one major difference - Permissions! see: Image 4
Apart from the Basic blog information, the Permission/Ownership of the blog, is now available on this screen. This too, has been upgraded...
One confusing aspect of this new GUI is the two different options for creating a New Post. One is a Pencil icon, and the other is the New Post button. Why have two? Mmmm.
I also wish the default Editor could be easily set, as well. I use the html Editor and have to switch all the time. Still, I like this new editor, too. I'll send some Feedback.
