New GUI - Blogger in Draft - Template

Location: Newcastle, NSW. Australia. Newcastle NSW, Australia

The New GUI from Blogger in Draft presents access to the Template functions in, I think, a way which is friendly to all.

It is clearly intended to avoid confusion over where to find things. Still, it will take some getting used to.

Once again, it is accessed from the Dashboard ...

The first screen presents all the Templates for your viewing, as well as options for viewing your blog 'live', and customising what you have. nearly hidden-away, at the very bottom of the screen, are three very important options - Template Backup, Edit Template, and Revert to Classic Template. I don't know why they are so positioned, when they are so important - especially the Backup and Edit Template functions!

The Customise box, when clicked on, takes you to the New Designer Template screen, as you would, by now, be accustomed to. All the functions are there, as normal.

Or, and this is new, you can click on any one of the displayed Templates, to see a replica of what your blog will look like with that template design in place. You can also 'Apply to Blog' this way...

Tucked away at the very, very bottom of the screen (squeezed-in, in fact, almost as an after-thought), you'll find the next three very important options.

Template Backup...

Edit Template ...

Revert to Classic Template ...
