"Don't ask again on this computer," - EVER again, Google!
Do you know what gets under my skin, to make me itch with anger? It's something like this ...
Have you ever wondered why Google does not recognise your 'stay at home computer', and why it often asks; "Is that really you?" Well I'm getting tired of it on my home Laptop - which NEVER leaves my desk, and NEVER even goes shopping with me, and, most of all, NEVER gets used by anyone else - EVER.
So, Mr. Google, instead of having a miriad of employees, who are brighter than the sun, and 'smarter than the average bear' (I know this because they work at Google - and must do nothing except come up with new designs, or something, to change/mend/fix something which wasn't broken), how about getting them to make things work?
I appreciate the fact that Security is one thing that Google thinks about, and that I have to sign-in to my account.
Simply, at the selection of one of two accounts, Google and I have gone on to first name terms ...
I enter my Password, for the account, but that's not good enough for Google. They already know that I'm 'Bob'...
Now, Google is getting nasty. They want to know if it REALLY IS me. Really truly me. They give me a choice of verification means. Wow!
I choose one, do this business with the code, which is a good thing for security (They call it the 2-step verification)
This step is what REALLY ticks me off - You see the little part highlighted by the red arrow? It says; 'Don't ask again on this computer', - again, and again.
It doesn't work! Google! The only way to avoid this situation, is not to logoff and power down!
