Nathan Patterson - Iluka Art & Design

Getting away from the main theme of this blog, for a while, today, I am reporting my 'great find', (although it may not be new to some) of a talented young man from Victoria, Australia, named Nathan Patterson, and his wonderfully creative design, and art work. I have enjoyed waiting for the next paintings, for about 12 months, and being almost sated by his offering, since I first came across his Instagram site - at the recommendation of my lady, Karen.

From his website:
"Nathan Patterson is a proud Wagiman Man living who is now residing in Torquay on the south coast of Victoria. His people are from Pine Creek, near the Daly River Region in the Northern Territory, where the Wagiman clan are the traditional landowners. Nathan was born 1981, in Preston Victoria and adopted to white parents. He met his biological mother for the first time when he was 15 years of age. His passion for painting first emerged during his teenage years which led to engaging in the study of Fine Arts in 2002 at RMIT, Melbourne. Nathan art career has now flourished and he now works as a full time artist".

With his permission (I hope), I give you an example of his work, called, 'Sisters', to help me promote him ...

I do hope you'll visit his site, and gain as much enjoyment as I have.

Thank you, H.
Yes, Nathan is very good. His artwork is quite unusual for indigenous style, but pleasing.
I think he's great. Glad to hear you do, too!
